Meditation sessions take place daily at the meditation hall. During meditation sessions we learn to concentrate, calm and clear our mind. Since the passing away of Balkrishna, the founder of Karuna, there aren't guided meditation sessions. Meditation sessions are usually silent , and although we all gather at the same time, each person does their own practice individually.

Hatha Yoga classes for beginners and intermediate are available twice a week at Karuna Retreat Center. We can also arrange daily yoga classes upon request. Anne Dinneen is our Yoga instructor and bases her classes on the teachings of B.S.K Iyengar - focusing on detail and accuracy in the postures. With special emphasis on breathing and releasing.
